MY DREAM IS A NIGERIAN!

I HAVE A NIGERIAN DREAM!
I have a DREAM and my dream is DEEPLY ROOTED in the NIGERIAN DREAM. The dream of today is the reality of tomorrow. So let us keep dreaming! Let us keep dreaming of a new bright beautiful future for Nigeria. Because the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams
You know what? I have a dream. I can see greatness written all over Nigeria! What shall separate us from the love of Nigeria? Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or corruption or poverty? For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers that be, nor things present, nor things to come can take this dream away from me, my dream of a new Nigeria!
Oshodi experienced a great, incredible and amazing transformation and I strongly believe that Nigeria will experience the same transformation UNDER VISIONARY LEADERSHIP. Some months ago, HFKDA – 5 POINTS. Oshodi was a horrible sight! It was an eyesore, just as corruption has almost made Nigeria, my beloved Nigeria, an eyesore in the sight of the international community.
· Oshodi was a place of filthiness; you see dirt, rubbish and garbage everywhere.
· Oshodi was a kingdom ruled by touts, thugs, hooligans, pick pockets, miscreants, Indian hemp smokers and people of questionable characters
· Oshodi was a place of disorder, lawlessness & ANARCHY
· Oshodi was an atmosphere of fear, insecurity of lives and property
· BUT TODAY THE STORY HAS CHANGED…
Because the Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola had a vision of a NEW OSHODI in line with his larger vision of turning LAGOS into a MEGACITY - He used his CAPACITY, his AUDACITY, and his SAGACITY and of course, he used the state paraphernalia at his disposal to bring an UNBELIEVABLE TRANSFORMATION to Oshodi. Today, when you get to Oshodi, you will think you are DREAMING, you WON’T BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE IT because Oshodi is wearing a COMPLETE new look! I have a dream that in Nigeria,
· We shall have UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. And if by any chance, the light goes off, prior notice would have been given with apologies and it won’t be off for more than few minutes. Our economy will no longer be driven by generators
· We shall have free, fair and peaceful elections. We shall experience true democracy, which Abraham Lincoln; the 16th President of the United States of America defined as” the government of the people, by the people and for the people”.
· Nigeria shall have visionary leaders and we shall enjoy good governance
· Nigerians will no longer be treated as second class citizens in their country.
· We shall have beautiful roads without potholes
· There will be safe and drinkable water for Nigerians
· There will be affordable houses for Nigerians to live in
· Security will be great that you can sleep with your two eyes closed
· Our hospitals will be powerfully equipped that there will be no need to seek medical care abroad
· Education will no longer be a luxury, but a right and it will be
· Unemployment and poverty shall become a thing of the past as new generation of entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses emerge
· The value of the naira shall become strong and powerful
· Nigeria shall become ONE of the TEN most industrialized nations of the world!
Once again, I declare, I HAVE A DREAM! IT’S A DREAM OF A NEW NIGERIA! GOD BLESS NIGERIA! GOD BLESS AFRICA!
